Here is Boggy Bottoms’ Own Bayou Bill Doing our Celebration Dance!

Well Friends, I just realized that I have reached 100 posts…I can’t believe it!!!  Seem that I just start this blog yesterday!!!  How long has it been…I don’t really know off the top of my head!  Maybe I was still making Teddy Bears?  I know they are  here under Past Creations…

Miss these  little guys!!!

I do miss making my bears!  Exploring and learning how to make my patterns to get just the right shape of muzzle…using actual mohair fabric (boy is it expensive!) to try out exactly how well it looked when stuffed!  Sometimes it was such a grand moment when one turned out just right…other times, the head went flying across the room!!! LOL! But one of my Bears was selected and published with My TDIPT Group's artwork in 2012 in Prims Magazine:

 Say Hello to Boo Bear!

Next came the softer side of Sculpting!

After Bears, I was still all about the softer side and went into soft sculpted dolls.

Some of you may remember these cuddly ones… A few of these had their arms and legs jointed, like my bears. I really enjoyed taking a muslin doll and jointing it!

Now,  We all know what comes next don't we...I'll give you a hint...I'm still doing it! Yep...still in LOVE with my Paper Clay!!!....So first were some such as Eudora and Jimmy.

Much to my excitement, They were published in Art Doll Quarterly!!! Then another Miracle...This past year I was in three magazine...or rather my dolls were!

Priscilla is going to be a Ballerina...I think...I want to send her in to ADQ for their Anthropomorphic Challenge that will take place this fall!  That's plenty of time? No...not at all!  ADQ (Art Doll Quarterly) gets started in March so they have plenty of time to get everything together for their big Fall issue...so Folks, she is due March 15!

Meet ?????

I haven;t named him because I haven't decided who he is...?  Is he a Dwarf with a scruffy beard or a Goblin with pointy ears...?.....or a mixture of both???

Maybe ya'll can help me decide...?  How about it?  Please leave a comment as to which one of  the above he looks like to you..I really will take your comments to heart. I plan on sending him in too, by March 15! Along with opening a big website...I think I'll be busy!!!!

Carly and 2014!

Well, here I sit blogging...not really knowing what to blog about...just want to ring in the New Year with my friends and share what I'm looking forward too...hoping everyone had a Merry Christmas. My eldest son was here from Colorado.  We were altogether and I am a happy MOM!

Looking forward to:
1) being able to walk...the surgery seems a success, so far so good.  Getting around with a walker and a wheelchair. It is difficult as I now have lost length in my left leg...so if you ask me how tall I am, well, it just depends upon which side you are asking about!  Have climbed my stairs numerous times...but to tell the truth...I'm not consistent enough.  I tend to go all out some days, which sets me back a day or so...then I wind up not doing much.  I recognize this now and am making efforts to change this stubborn pattern of mine!~

2) launching Giggleswick the Website!!!  It has been delayed and delayed due to my surgery and the holidays...so now we (LeeAnn, Mark and I need to jump on it!)  Be looking for us and we will be looking for you!

3) collaborating on a new birdcage doll with my dearest girl, LeeAnn!  We promise to deliver something very special and hopefully give you a little giggle in the process!

4) submissions of my newest creations to my Editor and friend, Jana Holstein, at Art Doll Quarterly!

5)  getting rid of this awful weight I've gained throughout this whole leg ordeal (yes my dears, I changed the subject yet again...kinda just putting my thoughts down as I go....

Here are a few sneak peeks at parts of Our Collaboration…LeeAnn and I had a blast talking about her today…Everyone, welcome Boolinda!!!

                          Isn’t she Bootiful?!

That’s all for now
Love and Friendship,

Carly Anne
