Here is Boggy Bottoms’ Own Bayou Bill Doing our Celebration Dance!
Well Friends, I just realized that I have reached 100
posts…I can’t believe it!!! Seem that I
just start this blog yesterday!!! How
long has it been…I don’t really know off the top of my head! Maybe I was still making Teddy Bears? I know they are here under Past Creations…
Miss these little guys!!!
I do miss making my bears! Exploring and learning how to make my
patterns to get just the right shape of muzzle…using actual mohair fabric (boy is
it expensive!) to try out exactly how well it looked when stuffed! Sometimes it was such a grand moment when one
turned out just right…other times, the head went flying across the room!!! LOL! But one of my Bears was selected and published with My TDIPT Group's artwork in 2012 in Prims Magazine:
Say Hello to Boo Bear!
Next came the softer side of Sculpting!
After Bears, I was still all about
the softer side and went into soft sculpted dolls.
Some of you may remember these cuddly
ones… A few of these had their arms and legs jointed, like my bears. I really
enjoyed taking a muslin doll and jointing it!
Now, We all know what comes next don't we...I'll give you a hint...I'm still doing it! Yep...still in LOVE with my Paper Clay!!!....So first were some such as Eudora and Jimmy.
Much to my excitement, They were published in Art Doll Quarterly!!! Then another Miracle...This past year I was in three magazine...or rather my dolls were!
